General Motors believes in an all-electric future. Back in October of 2017, GM announced they would roll out at least 20 new all-electric vehicles by 2023. Since that announcement, we’ve seen some of GM’s plan for the future begins to materialize. There have been several all-electric vehicle announcements across a handful of GM brands. GM’s latest announcement, an all-electric concept SUV for the Buick brand.

Key features found on the all-electric Enspire concept SUV include:

  • Supports both fast and wireless charging – the battery can be charged to 80 percent of capacity within 40 minutes
  • The Enspire is able to travel up to 370 miles on a single charge
  • Buick’s eMotion electric propulsion technology generates a maximum power of 410 kW, enabling the concept to sprint from 0-60 mph in 4 seconds
  • 5G super high-speed network concept
  • Cutting-edge technologies include an OLED display screen and an intelligent augmented reality technology-based head-up display system
  • The center console and armrests are made from natural wood grain and microfiber suede
  • A “surround skyline” interior theme and suspended theater-type seating give the Enspire a bright and spacious interior
  • Exterior feature lines and advanced aerodynamics accentuate the exterior’s strong, sculptural look

Buick unveiled the all-electric Enspire concept SUV, earlier this month in China. GM hasn’t given us any clues if the Buick Enspire will actually go into production. The Buick Enspire concept is an exploration of Buick’s bold design ideas and innovative technologies. The all-electric concept SUV gives us a glimpse into future design elements, and Ferguson Buick GMC likes what we see in the all-electric Enspire.
