FERGUSON BUICK GMC PARTNERS WITH COWETA HIGH SCHOOL FOR BUICK DRIVE FOR YOUR STUDENTS

Oklahoma has been in the national spot-light recently, over education. Oklahoma teachers earn the lowest salaries, among other state teachers across the country. Many schools already have, or are considered, cutting extracurricular activities and programs thanks to the state’s dwindling education budget. And now, Oklahoma teachers are threatening to walk-out on April 2nd, if the legislatures in Oklahoma City do not do something to address these concerns.

With all the stress and discourse in our state right now, over education, it’s nice for Ferguson Buick GMC to be able to give something back to our local schools [even if it’s just a small drop in the bucket].

Earlier this month, Ferguson Buick GMC partnered up with Coweta High School to take part in Buick’s “Drive For Your Students” fundraising event. With help from our community, we were able to raise $2,260 for Coweta High School.

The Buick Drive For Your Students fundraising campaign helps local GM dealers – like Ferguson Buick GMC – provide additional support for student programs within their community. The Buick Drive For Your Students is a part of Buick’s Achievers Scholarship Program.
